Hey All

I like to talk to you briefly about my Project which I have been doing for over half a year for my coursework. Only a couple of people know about this but I would like to tell you all so its fair. Ok, so try not to get too excited about what i'm about to say. I have been creating a Manga Book. Yes, with my characters, own storyline etc. I have not completed it fully. When I first chose to do a Manga Book for my course work I knew it was going to be a challenge and be fun at the same time, and it sure has been. I will be for a long time. In total completed pages I have done 3. And started with all line art done but needs tone 6. So 9 in total. It doesn't sound much but its pretty hard to do. My teacher is pleased with it so far and thinks its a good book so far and is happy with it. Deadline for my book (well the chapter i'm doing) is Summer, so I haven't got long to finish. Now I probably will show you all previews or the pages in the future but not sure when.

Along side of my coursework I need feedback on my drawings on DA in general, I know most of you comment, thank you. But I need a bit more of an explanation of why you like the drawing, what parts did I do good on? What not? How do I improve? I know not everyone can do that with every drawing I do because of time doing it etc. But it would be VERY VERY HELPFUL.

Another topic I like to talk to you about is my Contest which ENDS 1ST JUNE 2012. Which means you ONLY got 20 days to SUBMIT drawings in the Manga Panel Contest Folder in . I'm starting to worry as I haven't had any submissions and I would've thought I get a couple at least by the start of this month. As I know ALOT of people said they are going to do one, but so far I don't see any. So this is a BIG reminder for you all. The contest has to have at least 3 drawings from different people to let the contest finish. If not then no prizes will not be given out. But I think it would not get to that, but have to say these things. Some details about the contest, please read carefully:

Topic is very simple 'Manga Panel' you have to create a page or comic strip in Manga, simple

Rules

No Adult Content! Nudity / Sexual themes
Has to be made up! No copied from any other artist
You are allowed to do a fan art manga but it has to be a made up story!
Have fun making it
1 page only - has to be filed with panelling
You have to be a member of
It has to be made from 17th April and no older!
DEADLINE IS 1ST JUNE 2012 (As some of you are back in college so giving you over a month)
I will be picking a winner

Other News is I like to say is at the moment I am crazy for watching these programmes: The Voice (UK), Britains Got Talent (I'm behind on it by 6-8 episodes even though I know who wins) and The Apprentice (UK). I love these programmes so much, they are really funny and entertaining, recommended!

Anyone a Doctor Who Fan? It is coming to UK screens this Autumn! Cannot wait so excited But MORE news Merlin is also coming back this Autumn as well with Doctor who so its gonna be awesome Looking forward to Merlin more Cannot wait that long!
